About Us
Heather Williams

Fitness has been a major part of my life for 25 years.
In my teenage years into my early 20s, I was overweight and struggling with
mental health issues. After graduating from college in 2001, I decided to
start working out and from that moment on, I was hooked and haven’t
looked back! For me, being physically active is like breathing – I would be
dead without it. As someone with crippling anxiety, fitness has provided me
with the mental balance and focus I need to survive. As I get older, it has
given me the gift of being strong and healthy. Being strong, healthy and in
balance, both physically and mentally, is what keeps me going and I’m so
excited to help my clients develop these experiences to enrich and prolong
their own lives!

I am currently a full time dental hygienist and single mom of two athletic boys. I got my fitness instructor certification during COVID when I was home with my kids for four months and am currently awaiting my personal trainer certification to be completed. The gym has helped me become a better mom and human as I’ve leaned on fitness while overcoming personal life challenges and it’s truly saved me and transformed my life. Kayla really has inspired me and guided me into creating Soul Sweat with her spiritual and mind body fitness persona.
The motive behind Soul Sweat workouts is: I’ve learned that movement and coming together as a community is important for your physical and mental health. I know how much I’ve benefited from this and I love to be able to hear everyone’s stories and thank you for allowing me to share mine. I believe we all can learn something from the things that we have gone through in our lives!

I fell in love with exercise in high school, and when I discovered the workings of the human body, it became even more prominent. Weightlifting has been a constant in my life regardless of what stage I’ve been in. At the peak of my softball career, through grief, through happiness, and times where showing up was a win itself. I feel strongly that exercise is medicine and everyone deserves to treat their body with the love it deserves.I work full time as the director of a swim school, and have turned my passion for the human body into a focus of teaching children how their bodies move in water. When I’m not teaching a class of some sort, you’ll find me at home with my husband and a book, or playing slow pitch softball like the washed up athlete I am! You can find me at Katalyst on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9-10am, probably playing an insane combination for music, yapping, and subjecting everyone to my subpar dance moves.
